Mentor Programs

Interstate Relocation Services thoroughly understands the difficult transition elementary, middle, and high school students may experience when relocating. To address this situation, we designed a unique program that pairs the relocating student with a “mentor” at their new school.

Local school guidance counselors in the transferring student’s destination school pair a mentor based on age, gender, and interests. By allowing the transferring student to create a pre-move relationship, the stress of relocating is dramatically reduced for the student and the entire family.

Because of the popularity and success of the program, we have expanded it to include the transferring employee’s spouses, partners, and other relocating members of the family.
